I liked this scope so much, I ordered two more!
I signed up for a 4 day practical rifle class at Front Sight training in Pahrump Nevada with my brother, he mentioned that we would be shooting from 7 yards out to 300 yards. My old eyes aren't as good as they used to be, so I decided to cheat and grab an optic for the class. The reviews on this scope seemed to be good and the price was right, so I bought it and headed to the class. We sighted the AR-15 in at 50 yards and then started the course, I was extremely pleased at how fast I could get on target and shoot accurately (combat accurate) We shot a man on man steel silhouette target challenge. Out of 52 people in the class, I shocked myself and made it to the final round...I made it to 2nd place...not bad for an old duffer with a cheap Chinese optic (The guy with the 2000.00 rifle with the 1,300.00 ACOG scope was a little humbled haha) I without any reservations recommend this scope, dial it down to 1.5x at close quarters, your target acquisition will be faster and your shot placement will be greatly improved. LED useless, scope is adaquate for plinking, play or possibly hunting
It's only sort of clear, there is some distortion. I can live with that, it feels sturdy, kept aim through 200 rds of 223. The problem is the led function is worthless except indoors... you don't need a scope inside... It has an arrow, rather than cross-hairs or dot, and the illumination would help, if it was bright enough to see in any sunlight. Kept zero so far, rugged feeling, nice packaging, if they made the LED brighter it would be a bargain.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great scope
Easy to zero, clear image, good eye relief. Had my scope on my rifle and zeroed in. A few days after, while cleaning the rifle, my son knocked it off the table I was cleaning it on. Probably a good 3 feet off the ground. Took it back to the range and still held zero. Only complaint is the illuminating reticle is not bright enough even on highest setting. Nice little scope
I was actually surprised by the clearness of the lenses. Got it sighted in quickly. Holds it zero every shot. The color reticle only work in low light. During normal daylight just keep it switched off. A great scope for the money. Recommend for an AR-15.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Barska 1x4 Sniper Clone
Looks to be a clone of the Barska 1X4 Sniper tactical scope. I am using on an AR-47. I have about 100 rounds fired using the scope. Not yet sure how well it holds zero. Seems to be doing OK. The "Horseshoe" reticule is not as easy to see as the mildot cross hair reticule when not illuminated. When illuminated it looks good. Vignette of the outer edges is more pronounced than the Barska. Overall, It is worth the money. Remains to be seen how well it holds up. Do not over torque the mounting nuts. They will strip. Good scope, ditch the mount
The scope has held up great, the illumination is decent and the reticle is very usable. The mount is very heavy, I'd ditch it for a lighter option (I used an aero lightweight clone). Very happy with this for the price.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

1.5-4x30 scope
Bought this scope a few weeks ago for my AR, since then I've put 300 rounds thru it with no issues whatsoever. It does have an etched glass reticle which was not in the item description, and a pleasant surprise. The glass is clear, the reticle is clean, the 3 color reticle with the 3 brightness settings (for each color) aren't over powering, the adjustments are easy and well defined and the turrets lock down tight and hold zero. My particular scope has "Westlake" printed on the left side, but from what I can tell it is the same scope as the Vortec Optics Mustang, but costs $20 less. I would not hesitate to recommend this product or purchase another one. For under $70, can't go wrong.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

PLEASE READ
Received this optic with no issues and faster then what it said. This optic was easy to adjust and seems to be rugged, however, the sight picture is not the best, and the reticle is very dim(even with all three colors on the highest setting) , definitely not worth the cash but live and learn and I hope whoever is reading this doesn’t buy.

Great scope for the price!
This optic is quite the surpruse! It was cheep, and generally cheep means, ...we'll cheap. But in this case the quality is very nice. The retticle is very very fine, in fact it is nicer then my Vortex which has a simular reticle. It adjusts easy, no caps and tools needen, it's all there. It holds zero without issues. It is mounted on a 556/223 ar and after about 300 rounds it's still perfect. If anything bad to say about it I'd say there is no need for red, green and blue light up options. But I guess it's nice to have them. It also come with a very nice high rise mount! A little heavy, but works great, I ordered different caps for it and it reduced the weight greatly not having all that mounting material there. Once again this is one great quality optic, even better considering the price! It comes with a free mount and it functions as intended.
