Good, but is not a fit all telescopic mast

Good product, so far it works. But, I bought a Channel master telescopic antenna (50') and had grind the part to make it fit. Make sure you look at the measurements before you buy it, because not all mast are the same size. This was more my mistake and not the product. The product does help to set-up the mast in the ground without having to cement the mast; in case you need to move and take the mast with you. Is better to loose $30 dollars than $200.

Solid construction, but check size first.

Two reasons for the lower rating are: 1. Size of the socket for the base of the mast. It is larger than anticipated. The inside diameter appears to be 2-1/4" The base of my mast is 1-3/4" That means that there will be a lot of play in this unless I add a shim to it it somehow. I was not expecting that. 2. There was an area inside the socket that looked like it had some liquid sitting there and it had a rust color. Most of that wiped off, but again, I was not expecting that either. What is good: It looks to be a very sturdy item. I have changed my mind on how I am going to use this, so I will not be using the center spike most likely. Where I want to put the mast is where my heating and air conditioning package unit sits, so I will need to construct a platform for this to sit on. I will still use this as part of the base. I just won't be setting it into concrete. As for durability, It has good-looking welds that should hold up long-term so I don't have any concern about that. It should last.

  • Too tight for 2 1/4 mast

It says it fits up to a 2 1/4 in mast but i found this to be too tight. I had to hammer in a fold at the bottom of the mast and join it to this base similar to how we would attach two straws together. Then i had to jammer it on. The problem is that it is nearly impossible to spin the antenna and adjust for signal strength. Otherwise it seems built strong and is doing a great job as an antenna base.

  • EZ-UP ANTENNA BASE

This is the second of these bases that I bought for a second EZ UP antenna mast. I am using it for a permanent installation so I planted a concrete fooring embedding the spike into the wet concrete and boltomg the plate to the concrete base with expansion bolts Use 5/16 or 3/8 I bent a 1/4 and sheared off another inadequet to the task Vase itself is solid it provides good support for EZ UP masts Yes I would buy it again, Yes I reccomend it to others. GUY LINES ARE A MUST

  • Heavy Duty Ground Mount

This ground mount works great for my 24' telescopic mast. The only thing I would do is make the steak about a foot or so longer to go in the ground.

  • EZ32A Heavy Duty Ground Mount for Telescopic / Push Up Masts - Mast Plate

The product works well and is a perfect fit with the 1.5" Inside diameter 40 Galvanized pipe and the connector screwed on the end. The only issue is I would want the shipping cost to be a bit lower.

  • works

Set up antenna at 32 ft. with 3 guyed wire and have experienced 60 mph winds where I'm parked with the RV. The base held the mast and I would recommend everyone use this to set push up mast or poles to hold their antenna. Bill

  • Has one flaw. Holds water all the time. The cup needs a small hole to allow the water to drain.
