Unusable video capture quality
Sadly, after buying this I discoveres that the Easycap is a cheap imitation of the EZcap. During use, any VHS's recorded in SP are completely unviewable, due to the converter unit causing severe screen wobble. In LP mode, it's not as bad, but still renders the output video unusable. I've scoured forums and internet sites to find a solution, and it seems to be solely down to the hardware. Spend a few more pounds and get the genuine article is my advice. Instructions so poor it is almost impossible to use

Image quality poor
Okay so this is so cheap it is hard to be disappointed. However having tried various combinations of VCR's and PC's with different operating software, to date I am unable to obtain a steady shake free recording.
