Light weight and easy to use and instal.
I have recently bought this and installed it in my caravan. It gives me the temperature inside and out side the caravan which is what I wanted. I have compared the accuracy with other thermometers and it looks to be within the tolerance that it states. 1 degree C on each device, so it could be 2 degrees difference in total. Low quality product
I bought this thermometer clock to measure a temperature of a cabinet with my NAS drives. Receiver unit was placed just 2 meters away at my computer. Device was working for just a few days and by working I mean it was sometimes connecting to the outside unit that wasn't outside. After few days the outside unit that was never outside just stopped working. I tried changing batteries. I used primaries and rechargeable batteries but outside unit wasn't even giving me a red dot to signal it was working. I can only imagine how long it would work if I have placed it outside of my apartment in the cold, hot or rain. I am sure the radio connection would not work through the wall or through the windows since it couldn't establish a quality connection through two meters of thin air. Compact useful item
Very pleased with this item. Looked a long time for a compact wireless outside temperature reader. This was one of the cheapest and really serves my needs. Use it in my motorhome on holiday. Accurate and excellent value
I've had several of these over the years, they're very accurate, and good on batteries. The transmitter is usually the one to go wrong first, as they tend to get dropped when changing batteries of the get knocked of their 1-screw mount. It's worth using good quality alkaline in the transmitter, as it goes out in all temperatures. They're simple, but reliable.
