Works great, but be careful when installing.
It seems like a decent pump, and it is heavier than it looks. Lots of flow and good pressure. It's fairly quiet running, but it does seem to transfer a lot of vibration into the cabinet of the parts washer. That may be the fault of my washer, not this pump, who knows. In addition to the standard re-circulation of solvent during normal operation, the pump works great for quickly transferring the solvent from one sink to the other or filling up an external jug or tray, just by moving some valves around in the plumbing. My only real complaint is that the two fittings for the inlet and outlet are super soft plastic, so the threads are flimsy and very easy to mangle. You have to be extremely careful making your plumbing connections. The inlet connection is a real loose 3/4" NPT thread and it would not seal without about 8 wraps of PTFE tape and a liberal application of pipe dope. It took two tries to stop this connection from leaking. The outlet connection is a 1/4 NPT which is definitely delicate but did not require any extra sealant. Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect from this product since this is my first time purchasing a parts washer pump. So far it is satisfactory, aside from the very questionable quality of the pipe threads. I would have preferred a pump with a metal housing, or at least metal fittings.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great little parts washer pump
Excellent parts washer pump, quiet and powerful. Rated for solvent. I bought this as a replacement pump for my Harbor Freight parts washer which died on day one. The only con would be the screw on liquid tight fitting required for the power cord is not included or offered

Excellent pump for solvents
Purchased this pump without really knowing how Well it would work. Pump arrived and immediately installed and wired pump into homemade solvent tank setup. Have solvent run through filter setup before going to washing brush. Pump is extremely quiet and moves an excellent volume of fluid. Replacement for Ripoff Chinese Pumps...
We purchased this pump to replace a Harbor Freight parts washer pump that failed in a few hours with ordinary Stoddard solvent. The small print buried in the manual said the Harbor Freight pump was for "water" only. For a parts washer? The washer tub, itself, is pretty nice so with a little plumbing work we replaced the ripoff pump with the Little Giant and it pumps solvent like a champ. We are totally pleased. If you buy a Chinese parts washer you need the Little Giant pump. Just throw the ripoff pump away and you're in business...Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Sturdy,well built, quiet, and great flow - perfect for Stoddard solvent washers
This pump is purpose-built for Stoddard solvent and it works great! About 3 times heavier than the Stoddard incompatible pumps that come with most water-based only solved in affordable washers. I built my own washer and this addition was perfect. I actually had to add a valve to slow the flow a bit to reduce splashing. If I had a commercial washer, I'd replace the pump that came with it with the Little Giant PE-2YSA if the original pump failed or I wanted to switch over to using Stoddard solvent instead of water-based. Great little pump
Strong pump. Reasonably quiet. Similar in size, shape and configuration to the pump it replaced in my Clarke 20 gallon parts washer, but not exact. Had to do a little fabrication to plumb & wire it in, but not too extensive. Very pleased with the results. I selected this pump because it is compatible with kerosene which I use in my parts washer. If you use solvents (like kerosene) in your parts washer, make sure you get a pump that's compatible.
