good part, hard to install
Don't fall for the 'it's easy to install' BS. if you don't know how to take apart your kirby and put it back together and get it working... this is NOT an easy job. you will have to pull the transmission part out. you will have to pull the MOTOR out. you will have to pull out a bunch of other small parts out. you will need to remember where each screw came from so you can put it back in the same place. there are a couple of wires you need to unhook,, you will need to remember where they go. it's not super hard to change the switch out,,if you pay ATTENTION to what you are doing. turns out my problem wasn't the switch,, it was the power cord. right at the point where the cord connects to the switch... oh, well, Now I have a new switch and a new power cord.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
