JIS Screwdriver Set
JIS Screwdriver set. If you own a Japanese vehicle, car or bike, you need one of these. After years of having trouble getting a cross head driver to fit the screw heads of the bolts on my vehicles only for the cross heads to round off and have finish getting them out by using a drift, while cursing the use of monkey metal these fastening were made of, I one day read an article in a magazine that mentioned that the cross head bolts and screws used on Japanese vehicles were in fact JIS (Japanese Industry Standard) and not Phillips or Pozidrive. Once I got a set of JIS drivers I've never had a problem with a rounded off head since, even the little ones, and if you've ever tried taking out the screws from a Bandit clutch or brake fluid reservoir you'll know what I mean. You need a set. They might seem expensive now, but once you've used them you'll know they were worth it. stop chewing your heads
I bought this for Honda engines, but JIS screws are everywhere these days, lots of the ironmongery in DIY and Trade wholesalers have them. Hinges, Handles etc. the right tool for the job stops you chewing the screw head on cam out - which is what posi drive is designed to do. don't mix your posi drive and JIS.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
