Easy to record on to and they play well
I have now had several hundred of these Maxell CDs . We borrow from the local library, copy ( only for our own use) and listen to CD stories ( approx 10 CDs to a story) when travelling in our car I used to use rerecordable CDs but my Merecedes Disc player would suddenly stop playing and report " the wrong CD" .Very frustrating in the middle of a story. If I left the player turned off for 24 hours it would work again. I suspect rerecordable's, being thicker, generate more heat when played and trigger a safety device in the player I dispose of the copied CDs once listened to but as these are so reasonably priced, from the ebay suppier I order them from, it is not a significant cost. Very poor CDs
Very poor quality CDs, used up to 20 disks at a time to get 1 successful burn, data or audio, didn't matter what I tried disks were rejected on piece, had to get some unbranded disks from my local computer store to replace these ones, ended up throwing them away, complete and utter waste of time and money, will never buy these again.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This Maxell package is great value and the quality so far has been excellent. Normally at these sort of prices I would expect a few faulty discs but so far they have all been perfect. Delivery was very quick and they were well packaged. Good value, good product
Having used these discs for many years from a different supplier, a large cash and carry market, in a different package (four spindles of 25 in four plastic cases), my most recent purchase of those was faulty, and the retailer took no interest in the problem. I was convinced the manufacturer had changed 'something' about them, but retailer wouldn't take my description of the problem to the manufacturer, saying "We're not going to be stocking them anymore" I switched to this supplier and style of package, and they've been fine. vinyl conversion
I'm currently in the process of transferring all my old albums and tapes to cd. I tried a few cheap brands and they were a waste of time so I thought Maxell have been around for a long time so they must be doing something right! This is the second bundle I've bought and they work perfectly. I've had two discs that were faulty out of the 150 I've used....that's 99% rating.. at about 12p a disc you can't complain at that. My only problem is between records and tapes I've got about 750 to go so i'll be buying a few more packs before i'm finished.
