Switching IEC Power Connector for Your Templeboard Temple Audio Templeboard modules from Sweetwater make it possible to build the pedalboard of your dreams. Each module installs easily into your Templeboard's side micro or mini module slots to suit your evolving performance needs. The IEC AC Mains module adds a convenient IEC female outlet to the micro module slot of your board, with a male IEC connector that's compatible with many standard power supplies. This module also features a convenient on/off switch to power down without unplugging.
The great thing is that it's an AC Line Filter that is sealed.
It allows me to use it on a desktop, or for it's intended use - To be installed in a TempleBoard.
The switch is convenient, so I can turn the supply on/off.
All this means that I don't have to build one myself, which I would've had to do if it didn't exist.
Even though many supplies come with some form of minimal line noise suppression, It can't hurt to have a little redundancy.
This came with all the items to install into a TempleBoard.
- Screws
- Screwdriver
- Filter.
I would recommend this to anyone using a Templeboard.
Functionally, this module is just an on/off switch. But besides allowing you to switch off the power at the board, you can remove the power cable, which could make transporting the board a little easier. Supposedly, there is noise filtration as well, although if this contributes to the price, I wish they had left it out. Installing these is a bit delicate, so make sure you remove the end plate of the board first.
High quality mains plug with switch for Temple Audio pedalboards
A must have accessory for Temple Audio pedalboards. Especially useful for undermounted power supplies on larger boards.
Comes with a screwdriver for installation which is highly recommended as it might be the only tool that would reach such a tight spot.
