I havn't got round to fitting/trying it yet but you can see by looking that it is well machined and it has a fine ground finish to it, also the threads on the ends are cut correctly.I know it is manufactured by L.F.Harris and their stuff is generally of high quality and are good replacements for the original parts.
This is the good 5 speed main shaft. This shaft has the thicker wall thickness around the clutch push rod bushing , This keeps this treaded end from braking off when torquing the nut.. Use lock tight on this nut Use never seize on the clutch hub side nut because it can lock up on the treads when you put it on because of the self locking nut.
