Good purchase
Very pleased with these trestles, perhaps not strong/durable enough for a professional to use daily but a great piece of kit for a DIY'er. Took a little time to put together but have a good solid feel whilst remaining quite light and easy to move. the height can be varied and then secured so there is no chance of them moving when being used. Dissapointed
Sadly, although less expensive, these are inferior to the similar ones sold by B&Q and Screwfix. The construction is of a poorer quality and the plating inferior. Also for some reason thay have double the number of panels joining the the two 'A' sides together. However you could save yourself up to £10 (at current prices) a trestle buying these ones. Worse than useless
I wasn't expecting top quality at the price, but I thought they would at least do the job. The "rise-and-fall" function does not operate because the sliding uprights are clamped so tight in the bracket, they simply wont move. Lifting them requires partial dismantling of the bracket to free it up. The leg braces are downright dangerous. One trestle colapsed when under load (well below the stated maximum weight). The slots in the braces are cut at 90 degrees but should be at a greater angle so they tighten up under load. But when under load, they ride up the spigot they latch round and pop off, thus collapsing. They are dangerous and should not be for sale.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good sturdy construction. Assembly was very easy but a bit of tweeking to allow telescopic part to be movable easy is required, good strong pins which will not fall out. Chain securing pins to framework could be a lot stronger so as not to loose pins, one chain has already become separated.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Disappointed.
Should have guessed at £28. Shocked when UPS turned up with a small box instead of two sturdy trestles. Took an hour to assemble one and the materials are thin and cheaply welded. Light chain holding the pin for height adjustment broke during assembly. I wouldn't use it outside on a damp day either. tressels
my opinion is the tressels are not heavy duty as published the metal used is very thin, although once made up it is a little ridged, only hope it will survive the weight stated in the write up.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Heavy duty trestles
