Quality iron on tapes - great timersaver!
When I originally ordered some sew on tapes they came with some iron on ones which I wasn't sure that I'd use. My Granddaughter is off to Boarding school in September and every item of clothing that she takes has to be labelled. The iron on tapes were absolutely brilliant! So quick to do and they are really nice quality. I was so pleased with them that I ordered a 100 more! Nice clear name tags with no bobbling or loose threads
The name tags were delivered within the promised timeframe to my exact specifications. They have been easy to use and I would happily order again. We bought the labels for our grandson has he was losing a few of his clothes at various places. We decided on the sew on type rather than the iron on and feel we chose wisely. He has a double barrel sir name and this wasn’t an issue at all with the company or on the stitching onto the garment. On a smaller garment we fold the tag and just use his first name. I really like these, so much better than keep writing on labels or ironing on. The ink will fade in time and the iron on tape will eventually come off. You can choose to sew all round or just the sides. You have to put the effort in to sew them in but once you have done that, they will stay put a very long time. Woven tape is great but the Iron On are useless
The woven labels are neat. They came as a long ribbon. I cut the tags , burn the extremities, fold them in half, then sew them over the clothes tags. The iron on tags, are a waste of time and money. As per the instructions provided, you have to iron each one 3 times, and wait inbetween for the garment to cool down. I am glad I didn’t buy anymore because after 1 wash at 40 degrees all tags pilled off the cotton clothes. That’s disappointing. So although sewing may seem a chore, at the end the ironing took as much time and effort for nothing. From this brand I only recommend the woven tagsVerified purchase: YesCondition: New
