Works great on my Sony NXCAM's
Device works well. I needed much longer cable as my camera is on a crane. Need to use an extension cable as attached cord is fairly short. Nice remote control unit for camera (Canon HF-G20).
The controller worked well. It does not require batteries. The Zoom control worked great. The Speed can be set from Variable, Slow, and 6 or 7 steps of increasing speed. The Variable setting makes the pressure applied to the zoom control increase in speed zooming in or zooming out...there is a zoom in and a zoom out toggle control. N (Near) and F (Far) buttons are used for manual focus. If the camera is set to Auto Focus...using the Controller Focus buttons will adjust the focus...but will return to Auto Focus. If the camera is set to Manual Focus...the camera will no doubt stay at the manual focus adjustment using the Controller...even if it is out of focus. The Controller ON/OFF switch turns the Camera Power on or off. The Red Record button Starts the video recording and pressing it again stops the video recording. The Photo Button and the On Screen Button didn't seem to do anything...I will need to check this out again.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
