My little cat has had kidney problems for almost 4 years and a diet low in phosphorus is recommended. She hates the bland renal diets that are available and won't touch them, so the option has been to give her the normal food that she enjoys, and a phosphorus binder. Pronefra can be mixed in with food, but as my little one is rather fussy about anything being added to her normal dinners, I gently syringe the required amount immediately afterwards with a little water added. It goes down a treat, and we're both happy. A syringe is included in the box, but the marking quickly rub off. Best to mark the amount to be given with a serrated knife, then the correct dosage is always given.

This is a vital medicine for our little dog, As soon as she stops eating we know we need a fresh bottle. That is the only problem with this stuff, don't be tempted to buy the bigger bottles as they tend to lose potency well before they are empty. Even the little ones have never stayed the course with our little dog, but it's much less wasteful. Whatever the case this is life & death to her & so far has worked.

Well, it's a vetinary product and as our elderly cat has renal problems, she needs it on a regular basis. I mix it into her wet food and she's fine with this.
