MicroLubrol™ ARMASIL™ AIRGUN OIL is NOT an automotive grade oil and does NOT contain ANY petroleum distillate products OR synthetic petroleum-based oils such as PAO oils. Petroleum based fluids do NOT have the high-shear, high-temperature resistance of MICROLUBROL™ ARMASIL™ AIRGUN OIL and can "diesel" or "tar" when used in high-compression applications.
This is a high quality oil, but be careful how much you use if using to tip CO2 cartridges it is thinner than Pellgun oil (but better)..
I bought this oil because Pellgun oil is sticky, old inferior garbage and I wanted something that does not gum up air guns. And this stuff fits the bill. It is very slick and a very good oil, but thinner and moves better than Pellgun oil. If you use a drop of Pellgun oil on the tips of CO2 carts. now and then to lube your airgun, use not even half a drop of this stuff. "A light smear" on the tip is good enough, because if you use more, this stuff will blow all through the gun and get into places it should not be/that shouldn't be lubed. That's what happened to me and I had to clean some parts of my CO2 pistol. On the plus side, no worries about it lubing the parts it should, very well.
