SBC heads

Bad SBC Heads
I order these heads and once i received them i went to go through them and they are junk. Had to be completely disassembled and found metal shavings. Spring pressure is set for racing only no street machines. The 300 lb of pressure will flatten you street cam. Then 6 of the 8 plug holes were clogged and had to be re done. I found these heads to be very cheaply made and highly recommend to avoid them unless your a machine shop and can properly check and clean them. New springs were $130.00 and then labor to clean and check them runs another 100 so it is not a good value. Figuring the cost is 700 to buy them and does not include rockers.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
