    SV2000 WV20V6 Needs remote to finalize dvd's!

After receiving this unit I quickly found that a remote specific to this model is needed to " Finalize " dubbed DVD's in order to play it in other DVD players. Note; Only DVD-R disc's need to be finalized. DVD-RW can be erased and used over and do not require any Finalize. Costco is the cheapest to transfer VHS to DVD at $20.oo for each 2 hour disc. So far I have transferred 35 so I have more than recouped my purchase price of this unit and a remote from Remote controls.com. You should also understand the quality of the DVD is only as good as the VHS it's recorded from.

Works ok for $140 brandnew for 2005 model.Thats when they were made..Brand new but OLD!!

worked ok.Recorded disc;s dont have much volume for some reason and tv volume needs to be up high..The remote is cheaply made and gets stuck trying to go from disc edit to finalalize and then you got to power off, eject, and power up then find finalize to finish disc.Other than all that it works ok.Without a remote its nothing but a dvd player..Got to have a good remote !! They dont sell repacement remotes for this recorder...Must treat remote with upmost care!!!!

  • DVD/VHS Recorder

This is my 3rd recorder like this. I have found it very reliable and easy to use. The problems I had in the past with this type of recorder was mainly due to age and hard usage. We record a lot of dvds.

  • GREAT BUY ON HARD TO FIND ITEM

Since the stores have stopped selling DVD recorders, only used ones are available. Have had other Funai recorders in past, and this one was like new and complete with remote, cables, and instructions, and delivered quickly, and securely wrapped in bubble wrap.

  • Recording good, had a huckup at first, don;t know if it was the item or me.

Rating is still out, Had quite a time setting it up. Think its working very good. Will have to wait til I record a couple of things.

  • Funai SV2000 DVD Recorder Player WV10D6 Is The BEST!

This is my second Funai SV2000 DVD Recorder Player WV10D6, which I purchased because, when I wanted to copy a video from my SONY Video Player, the Sony DVD Player too often would not even play the DVD but instead gave a warning that the DVD was Dirty and refused to play it, and as my first Funai SV2000 DVD Recorder Player WV10D6 never gave such warnings, but would always play them, I purchased my second Funai SV2000 DVD Recorder Player WV10D6 to replace my new SONY DVD Player. And sure enough, my second one always works, just as I expected!
