Its only when something goes wrong that you realize how much you were getting annoyed with its failures. Not surprising then the wonderful relief at having Newness restored to all your TV viewing when sanity is restored and everything gets back to original Normal!! I use this to filter programmes I don't have time to watch in total, but look forward to watching the parts of greatest interest to me. .I therefore record them so easily with this hand set from the Guide Screen. Then I use it again to bring up what I have recorded, select from its list, and stop and leap forward to miss what I haven't time to watch, and get on to the bits that interest me most. This is a straight replacement for my original remote control but it came with no instructions on how to program it to operate my HDD recorder. I had to contact the Panasonic Technical dept to talk me through it. The procedure to enable it to operate the TV I found in my HDD recorder manual. All works fine now. Very pleased with it.
