Tricky to install but works great:
I did some research from another wifi and this driver can be installed into Windows 10 with the disc it provided if one knows how to proceed. It needs to be done under the "Administrative" of our computer, and install the driver (the disc) first before putting in the adapter. So first open the disc file then click where it says Microsoft 10 then go down the files to the small black icon (not the blue icon) where it says "Setup" and click there, and then it uploads everything and the adapter starts working. The steps after that does not appear on the screen. Takes just a minute or less. Then it creates an icon "shortcut" on my screen which we double click and it shows the signal strength and etc. As such the adapter is now functioning, and it is displaying a much stronger signal then what I use to get, and it appears to be working faster and with a better image.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It works.......kinda?
I bought this to test some connectivity issues I was having. I was having some buffering issues with youtube videos and such and wanted to make sure it wasn't my old usb wifi adapter before I called my isp. Well, this one had the same issues as with my old one, but it also had additional issues. I play online gaming and when I am using this adapter, I get disconnected from my game withing 5 minutes. With my old adapter I can play for hours without getting disconnected, but not with this one. I switched them back and forth to make sure and every time I used this one, I would get disconnected within 5 minutes, and with my old one, no disconnections. Big bang, without the bulk!
I love this product, and it's as simple as it sounds! Screw the antenna into the USB provided in the package, plug into a computers USB port, put CD in, run auto install, and you now have wifi! Works on desktops as well. Also, if you really need small and compact, you can plug the USB in to the computer without connecting the antenna, and it still gets good signal.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not reliable!
I recently got a new desktop computer for my room, yet my router is downstairs and so i can't use a cable to connect to the internet. Now this works well at first, i plugged it in and it immediately was ready to go, but the connection drops at random times and you will lose complete connection for a few moments. I know this may not seem like much, but you can basically kiss online gaming away, and have fun watching your youtube videos buffer and websites not connect. Very, Very Good.
I have only had it for one month so I can't say much in terms of durability, but so far it has exceeded all exceptions. In particular its 5dbi tiny antenna has so far been able to pick up signals even better than other higher dbi omni multidirectional and 1-directional antennas that I have tested. Runs out of the box on Windows 10, not at all on Linux!
This is a great wifi adapter with good range and speed, plug & play IF you are running Windows 10. On Linux or Ubuntu I would avoid it. The manufacturer provides drivers ostensibly coded for Linux based OS's in the form of an uncompiled folder of code that WILL NOT COMPILE. I have raked the Linux forums for a solution and the consensus is: find another adapter until the manufacturer provides a driver set which compiles properly without puking a pile of errors.
