As long as you don't mind "building" the two batteries into the pack needed by the APC UPS - sticking them together, transferring over the cables and sticking down the black "Funnel" connector block, this represents excellent value to replace your batteries. They arrived very rapidly, and previous examples of this make (Ritar) have proved to be good quality, and last as many years as other, more expensive ones. I had an issue that the previous batteries had corroded the negative connectors, so I had to replace two of the cables, which isn't trivial if you don't have Powerpole tools and terminals (I do), and the fuse connectors are 8mm wide, which are hard to find - I used 9.5mm terminals and nipped the tops down a little to grip the spades properly (I assume 9.5mm spades are thicker, as well as wider, than 8mm ones). To sum up, if your existing cables are reusable, go for it. If not, and you are not confident in your ability to make up new ones, fork out for the ready-built packs.Read full review
