Ultegra 9 sp. Cassette
I was looking for different gearing, without having to go to 10 or 11 speed. I found this 9 speed cassette with the gearing I was looking for 13-25, (I had a 12-21 9 speed on my bikes). I don't use my 12, and I certainly don't need an 11, so this worked perfectly for my preference, as I was looking for a little lower gearing for climbing. My concern was would it fit my older Dura Ace hub FH7700, which it fit perfectly. It's Ultegra, so it's a little heavier than Dura Ace. I've had it now for about a month, wanted to use it some before I put a review. I've got about 500 miles on it so far. I don't race anymore, but still do a lot of race speed riding/training with others. The chain shifts great on this cassette, the cogs appear to be very strong, I don't think it's going to wear down very much. It's quiet when I'm pedaling. I grabbed two of them, one for each of my bikes, as I know 9 speed gearing is getting harder to find. I found them at a shop in England, but only took about a week or so to get them to me.
