Sound has cut a few times
Looks and feels high quality but sound has cut out a few times, This maybe due to the cable being quite heavy and stiff so it doesn't bend or curve easily if your input/output port is at a tight angle so it maybe coming out or not aligning properly if it moves. It's still early days yet and I'm still using it but otherwise, Yes it feels a solid high quality cable but I may end up replacing it with a basic thinner old type that's easier to tuck away and hide neatly.

Good cable if you have plenty of space to plug it in
Good delivery time and in good packaging. Substantial sheathing around cable. Only (very) slight issue is in a tight situation (ie behind a wall mounted TV) it's difficult to turn the plug to line up with the socket. The barrel of the plug turns without turning the fibre connection; so you have to turn the entire cable. And as I said in limited space it is difficult to get it to line up.. Good quality optical cable at an amazing price. Akord brand, never heard of them before but thought I'd give them at try and was not dissapointed , great looking braded cord with plated gold contacts that performs as good as it looks. I bought the one meter variety & wish I had ordered a longer one (my fault) . Only been in use for 24 hours but no problems, lets hope it has a long service life. Does the job
It performs really well. One meter cable is ideal for me as you don’t get much slack and it looks tidy. The only issue I had was try to connect the cable to my tv, it was a bit tight and had push it in with a little force. The other end connected no problem to my sound bar. High quality
I like the product, looks very expensive like one of my hdmi cable which was £80. Anyways, i bought this because i thought my 5.1 surround system had issues and the only way to test it was to get another cable to make sure its not the cables fault. Turns out its the system. braiding is very stiff
