Needed a lot if adjustments
Great bike but, could of arrived without needing SO MANY adjustment, brakes squeak, hard to adjust, still squeak... we hear a lot of rubbing while riding. If you purchase, be aware the bike arrives needing adjustments, assembly was easy. Making bije run smoothly, A PROBLEM, this review is as honest as it can be. Derailleur broke for my first try.
I received my bike four days ago, and I was so busy that I assembled the parts together today. I have to admit that the bike looks pretty good and beautiful. But when I assembled them together and had a biking test around my apartment, the tragic thing happened: the derailleur in my bike snapped. I want to say that it was my first try and it happened so fast. I felt very frustrated about what happened and surprised about the doubtable quality of the bike. Bike is made cheaply
The bike is made cheaply using cheap parts. It doesn't shift well. It has hanger issues. The rear derailleur snapped the first time I rode the bike that bent the rim and the chain. The front derailleur doesn't work at all. It needs upgrades and better parts.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not at all what I was looking for
Hi the bicycle I brought I put together the brakes squeak the gears work good it had a lot of drag and its overall performance was poor I wouldn't recommend this product. Derailuer broke on first ride
Less than a quarter mile into the ride the derailleur twisted up into the frame. I contacted Mongoose support and they sent me a new one but the same thing happened to the new one after it was installed.
