Good reading
What can one say about Herriot & his novels? Traditional down to earth reading. The books our about times gone bye an age of innocence & family values. The books move along at a fast pace reflecting every day issues of the time. The novels are a family read. I must say that all the books in this trilogy are not a taxing read, the storylines are not over complicated. Within the books you will find humour, pathos & a true if at times rose coloured view of the times.
