If you're looking for a cheap cake decorating turntable then this is it. I don't think I would pay more for it though. It's just made from basic white plastic which is easy to clean. I would prefer it if the spin was a little smoother but for the price I paid it does a good enough job. I've only used it once so far, but not for cakes - I used it to spin a 40cm x 40cm canvas for an acrylic paint pouring project and it did that adequately. As the canvas was larger than the turnable, it was more difficult to spin so I taped an Iced Lolly stick to the underside of the turntable and used that as a handle to help me spin it. All good!
