Works Well With Sony Mirrorless!
I love this flash! It communicates with my camera to tell me the proper exposure. It is also easy to bounce with the moveable head. The head is also able to be moved to one side for vertical shots. Could've, should've, but didn't meet expectations.
This flash was supposed to be awesome. It could've been awesome. It's bright, recycles quickly, and is consistent. WHEN IT'S NOT OVERHEATING. Have read multiple reviews online in regards to countless others experiencing the same issue. I've used Canon flashes before I switched to the Sony DSLM system and have never had this issue before and for a flagship flash at the cost that they're selling this for, this is a huge disappointment. Great Flash!
Don't know why this strobe has gotten bad ratings. Works well with my Alpha 58 camera. Don't use it professionally; however, no doubt it would work great in a professional venue. Works with a little fix.
I put to springs under the batteries to complete the circuit. I have springs from tearing down junk over the years. --- Flashes that haven't been used in years take a lot of juice the first time. You can never use lithium batteries. I connected mya Aodelan P12 battery pack. Put in twelve Ni Metal Hydride"s. Full blast recycles in under three seconds. NICE.Verified purchase: Yes

Does what it should.
I got this hoping it will become my walk around flash while I accumulate more radio flashes in the future. I am an amateur photographer and I'm not too well educated on the potential for this flash, but I intend to find a diffuser and use it for macro photos and spontaneous portraiture.
