Great overarching theme and some very inventive creations
Loved the first book of the trilogy and was very keen to follow the plot in the second novel. Enjoyed the second but by this final one - Clockwork Princess - got quite irritated by the love theme which grows in prominence through the trilogy. Also felt that the clockwork angel motif (pendant worn by the central character) was almost forgotten. It is not of central importance to the plot - as is suggested by title of the first novel in the series. Overall, I would recommend it for its wonderful inventiveness. In particular, I really enjoyed the the clockwork creations; shades of steampunk here.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
