George R.R Martin powerfully captures the melonchollys and the delights of everyday life in the medieval era and paints a picture so vivid it could cut stone. Amongst the bitter fueds of the noble lords and ladies of westeros, the reader can experience the death of chivalry in a manner somewhat remminsciant of the events that ushered us into the renassiance.
