About this product

Product Information

HBO's hit series A GAME OF THRONES is based on George R R Martin's internationally bestselling series A SONG OF ICE AND FIRE, the greatest fantasy epic of the modern age. A STORM OF SWORDS: STEEL AND SNOW is the FIRST part of the third volume in the series. `Nobody does fantasy quite like Martin' Sunday Times Winter approaches Westeros like an angry beast. The Seven Kingdoms are divided by revolt and blood feud.Beyond the Wall, a horde of hungry, savage people steeped in the dark magic of the wilderness is poised to invade the Kingdom of the North. Throughout Westeros, the war of the Iron Throne rages more fiercely than ever, but if the Wall is breached, no king - or queen - will live to claim it. A STORM OF SWORDS, PART ONE: STEEL AND SNOW, the first half of Book Three of A Song of Ice and Fire, continues the greatest fantasy epic of the modern age.

  • a gripping, thrilling tale somewhat reminisicant of the events that ushered us into the rennassiance

Fantastic read at a fantastic price. Great condition too. George R.R Martin powerfully captures the melonchollys and the delights of everyday life in the medieval era and paints a picture so vivid it could cut stone. Amongst the bitter fueds of the noble lords and ladies of westeros, the reader can experience the death of chivalry in a manner somewhat remminsciant of the events that ushered us into the renassiance. The reader finds themseleves lost in the world Martin has created, on an emotional journey that presents them with the dilemma of trying to get the next book before they've finished this one; a gripping read and a thrilling story.
