This is a good tool for fitting new glass or watch backs, it's not the best tool available but it is the most economical, providing you don't intend on using this professionally then it is good value. Instructions are not required, research how to use it online. Mine had a serious flaw, the lower stud fitting for the tools was crooked and this meant the the tools would not close together properly, (gap on one side) this problem was easily fixed by driving out the stud which is press fit and refitting it ensuring it stayed straight. Note: I still managed to fit a new glass in my Seiko kinetic with the crooked fitting. All in all excellent value for money, I may only use it once but it has already paid for itself.

The basic unit is well made and finished, good selection of cups and a good price. On the down side, the top thread on mine was badly formed, the cups would not fit. So much so I had to recut the thread with a die...which was difficult in that tight space. I might just have been unlucky?

I followed a YouTube video to take the back off a watch but no matter how I pressed on it I couldn't put it back on. I ordered this and it was relatively easy. I was initially skeptical but it worked fine the one time I've used it!

The press is easy to use, even though there are no proper instructions. It worked first time. I used to pay £13 (US$15) for a jeweller to put in a new battery: now I can do it for free.

Great proce, just the job, does what it says on the tin. Did a Seiko SKX007 mod with it, and it definitely helped make some difficult jobs very easy.
