Great Product!!! I was about to throw away my pressure cooker because the seal or gasket was worn, and I bought some other brand names aftermarket, and they were made very flimsy and leaked the first time I tried them, thank goodness Seneca trading had the real gasket or seal from the Presto company and their gasket or seal was much better rubber and thicker and it worked from the very first time that I used it. thank you!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Seems like it will work
I have not tried it yet. Had to use a knife to open the package. But that probably is good, else the plug would have gotten lost during shipping. Tried to put it in sideways but it would not fit that way. If you don't have water in the bottom of the cooker it will melt and make a mess when turned on high. Easy to replace, fits well, and works, low cost, but expensive over time
Presto sealing rings and pressure plugs are easy to replace, fit well, and work. The only issue I have with the sealing rings is their short life expectancy. We use our pressure cooker several times a week. We really like the convenience, flavor, and time savings of pressure cooking; however, the sealing ring wears out and needs to be replaced annually. Doing the math, over a ten year time period, the total cost of sealing rings and pressure plugs quickly approaches $100. The product is exactly what I expected. It is not easy to find the genuine gasket. I love my pressure cooker and now I can continue using it.
A sealing ring is very important for the proper functioning of a pressure cooker. This ring is perfect because it is the genuine part and this makes quite a difference. Stainless steel pressure cooker
I have two pressure cookers and love cooking with them. You can put frozen meat in them and be eating meal in an hour with the meat falling apart. Great with noodles, rice , for soups and whatever else you can think of cooking in them. I have cooked chicken, beef and pork in the pot and put BBQ Sauce in with meat after picking all the bones out and had BBQ sandwiches. Didn't think I would like it at first
I was very big and didn't want to fit inside the edge of the lid. But after some pushing and squishing it barely fit and then it was hard to lock it onto the pan. Then when I cooked with it... it was wonderful!! The rubber ring will, strangely enough, shrink to fit into the edge of the lid and make the seal between the lid and the pan excellent! ''Simple and very affordable''
Our Pressure Cooker was in dire need of this ''sealing ring'' since it had started leaking around the lid. This is one of my Wife's favorite appliances in the kitchen and she uses it extensively. The one we replaced was the second one in about 20+ years of service! All I did was wash it and the overpressure plug as instructed in warm,soapy water and install! It was that simple. Now we're back in business, or at least my wife is, and is very happy! It's nice to find parts for older things that aren't ready to ''retire'' ,lol. Happy to find this set
I had put my pressure cooker on the stove in the garage and got sidetracked. The cooker went dry and ruined the sealing ring and pressure plug. I thought my cooker might be a total loss.
