Works great!,
I've tried many methods to clean cat hair off my furniture. This one is far superior to any of the others. At first I couldn't figure out how to open it but found a video on You Tube that explains it. Look for "Tip for the Pledge Sweeper for Pet Hair" for Ashlie. Emptying the product allows it to last a long time & will save you a lot of money in the long run! My only complaint is the price, which used to be $5-$8 dollars. Buy A Chom Chom Instead
I owned one and still do, bought when these were sold at Walmart for $3.97 each. Even then I had reservations about $3.97 ten years ago for a disposable product. And it seemed a shame to put them in landfills every time they were full of pet hair when they still were perfectly good to reuse except that they were riveted shut with little plastic rivets. If they were designed to open and close to remove the pet hair it would have been less wasteful! A million other reviewers will say the same. Aside from that they worked very well. I loved it enough to keep my original until I could figure out a way to modify it to open and close. YouTubers will tell you to pop open one side with a screwdriver and place thin strips of Velcro in place of the rivets. Now it will be reusable. I did do that. Works ok. But since they are no longer manufactured sellers are asking $30 to $50 each. Not worth that price for a disposable item that you have to modify! Instead buy a ChomChom! Not disposable, and works better! Just buy a Chom Chom for $24 to $27 a much better buy! I own both.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

What I was looking for
My old Fabric Sweeper fell apart, so I decided to bid on a new one. It fit the bill, but you have to be very careful cleaning the hair out of the unit. It doesn't come apart like my old one.
