Large 14 year old German Shepherd walks two blocks now.
Came in the original box and all parts still sealed, so was probably not used. A little expensive, even on EBAY, but works well once we figured out how to assemble it and put it on our dog. Great price point compared to others I found. Took some figuring out to assemble but the tough part is adjusting to your pets size. Especially when they’re not very mobile. Used Best Friend Dog Mobility Wheelchair
The product was in very good condition and well made. The problem was with the instructions being incomplete and trying to figure out how to make adjustments on our own. When we finally got it all together and put our full 29" pet in the wheelchair it was nowhere near tall enough to accommodate him. His one good hind leg, when fully extended to where it is appropriate for him to walk was much taller than the highest setting of the wheelchair. It did not provide him with any support for using his good leg and letting the wheelchair assist with his weight. I was so very disappointed. My dog is a greyhound, recovering from having a leg removed due to bone cancer and there is nothing he likes better than walking the neighborhood and visiting with all the neighbors and kids. Best Friend Mobility Dog Wheelchair brings new life to our German Shepard
Going into two weeks with the Best Friend Mobility Dog Wheelchair and our German Shepard is getting stronger and walking further. He's even chasing rabbits in his slow hopping way. Walks have become fun for him again. It only took one walk and he understood how to walk with the wheelchair, or maybe he doesn't even know it is behind him. On the third day he started standing and waiting for us to setup his wheelchair and harness him in. We've gotten better and faster at hooking up the collar, leg straps and connecting the wheelchair.
