Great gadget
Bought this for an 80-year old, as it's easy to operate and saves lifting heavy kettles. Water starts coming through after only about 5 seconds, then it's a slow but steady flow. This took a little getting used to, but it's really useful as you can have exactly the amount you need - so it can be used for cooking as well as hot drinks. Early days yet but so far so good. Good but not for the old or absent minded
I got my mum a one cup machine before but they are hard to clean and look dirty after a while. So I got her this one, it is easier to clean and is easier to fill. The only thing is there is no way to set an amount so if you put your cup under and forget it spills over. My mum is 83 and so far she has done this 4 times, the entire tank of water all over the sides and floor. Hot Water In Seconds!
I needed a new kettle and happened to stumble across this when searching. It is quite big so takes up more room than my old kettle would but it is so worth it when you weigh up all the benefits. 1. you get hot water instantly. 2. easy to use on/off switch. 3. Energy saving as it only boils the water that you're going to use. 4. No lifting a heavy kettle, just pop your mug on the drip tray under the water spout and the machine does the rest. 5. Works well
Nice looking, easy to use and very quick. I like like the fact that the water continually pours out so I can have a small or large "cuppa" and fill up my saucepan without constantly pressing a button, unlike my last one. On the downside, I don't like having to remove the water holder every time I want to refill. I end up having to wipe up water. This dispenser looks good and for the price boils hotter than our previous, more expensive, dispenser. The removable water tank is very useful for filling and at a flick of a switch you can fill any size cup or pan you want. We also bought an Andrew James electric coffee grinder at the same time and we are very happy with both. A great addition to the kitchen.
A nice kitchen gadget. Dispensing boiling water quite quickly, I would say about 30-40 seconds for a standard mug full. Much quicker than waiting for a kettle to boil. We did trip up on the dispensing method though by assuming that the water flow would stop at a cup full! We realised that it's a switch-on switch-off affair after we mopped up the over-flow! We have decided to use bottled water or filtered water as we don't want it to clog with limescale. Bought this dispenser to replace my small Morphy Richards one cup pod which is no longer produced. It's so easy, I fill it once a day and it meets all of my needs. Product arrived within 24hrs and was very well packaged. However the switch did need time to kick in. Had to turn it on and off a couple of times before it started to boil, hence only 4 stars. Good Water Heater
Very good water heater that would benefit from an on/off switch and settings that allow you to set the desired quantity. I keep forgetting it's filling and leave it to overflow but that's just me! Have tried this out and overall very good product 2 year warranty fast boil looks good in kitchen stylish design better than i thought it would be only downside could do with guide to sit water tank first time on machine bit awkward at my age .also a bit faster output would be nice but think may be safety feature to stop spillage otherwise this is the best so far price is very good value like the fact you can control amount delivered although another safety feature that would be handy is the button should switch off when released instead of staying on till switched off thus avoiding overflow if distracted apart from stated well done impressed me and will be recommending product to friends and family terry kelsall 67 years youngVerified purchase: YesCondition: New
