Bandsaw
After sorting out a few problems with the bandsaw which were no fault of the supplier Ihave found that the machine suits my needs very well.I make bushcraft knives and use the bandsaw to cut wood for the handles which intales quite a lot of resawing of hardwoods which the machine does with ease.I also like the cast iron table which provides a very stable work surface.On the downside I found the aluminium extrusion used for the fence was not square so have had to replace,however the fact that the fence clamps only on one side makes it a lot easier to adjust and keep your cut square.The blade quivers are of a good quality and are easier to adjust when changing blades.Overall for the money with a little tweaking it’s a very good little machine.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good, but could be better.
For a bench top band saw it is adequate for 'hobby' activities. However, for precision work it may not meet your needs. I was slightly disappointed with the construction:- the fence did not sit at right angles despite adjustments, and did not clamp flat on the table provided - I had to use a portable clamp. Also, the opening door to access the blade was awkward and the locking device did not line up with the pre-drilled hole for retaining nut. Otherwise, a useful tool, although greatly over priced - I was lucky because I took advantage of promotional offer.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Mainly for model making
The throat depth was not deep enough.Ive bought a second hand one with a 14" throat depth. The table is rather small,but I have made an adaption so long lengths can be cut safely. Do your homework before purchasing.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
