very light, with two power options. charge time is great 5 hours gives nearly one hour of run time depending on the power setting. it is very powerful with great suction, their is one small niggle with the hoover head, it is very close to the floor and can struggle with larger sized particles. overall an excellent product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good if you can find a cheap one
I bought a refurbished unit for just under £60. For this money, it's a bargain. It seems to give about 25-30 minutes of suction on full power and I don't doubt it would reach the advertised 55 minute runtime on the lower power setting. The brush bar is good for such a small unit and it leaves the carpet fairly clean. I bought this mainly for the car and for cleaning up quick spills indoors, but I have been using it throughout the whole flat (small 1-bed) every couple of days as a 'top up' to the main weekly vacuum over the weekends. The main vacuum cleaner is a vax air 3 which of course is significantly more powerful in terms of both the bush bar and suction. However, I have been pleasantly surprised with this battery unit especially because my only other experience of cordless cleaners has been other vax units mainly designed for the car e.g the Gator model. I have always found these to be next to useless in terms of cleaning power and runtime. This Dynamo Power actually picks stuff up and you only have to look at the amount of dust and debris that's collected to see that it's doing a very good job. My only concern is what happens when the built-in non-user-replaceable Lithium Battery no longer holds a decent charge. I hope that its destiny is not like seemingly every other modern battery operated device - the bin or replacement from the factory at almost the same cost as a complete replacement unit. The other reason for giving it four instead of five stars is that there is no long & slim extension piece to allow you to get down the sides of the car seats. I have managed to cobble together various extensions and adapters from other vacuum cleaners that we've had over the years, but a simple 'long bit' would be a real bonus. Good lightweight hoover ideal for small houses
