Waffles aren't something I eat every day or even every week, so I'm not giving house room to a massive or expensive waffle iron. This one fits the bill perfectly for occasional use. It might lack some grunt in power - waffles take about 5 minutes rather than 2-3 with more expensive irons. Easy to clean easy to store!!

Wanted a waffle maker to give a different option to breakfast,very easy recipe for the batter and first ones eaten with syrup and banana.
