I have used this for quiche, twice baked potatoes, fruit pies, flourless chocolate cakes (nice gooey fudgey centers with crisp brownie type outside), custard cakes (canneles), whoopie -type pies, small Italian cream cakes, love this machine! Good and Bad
I made Cherry pies which are my husbands favorite and they came out beautiful. i tried blueberry (which are my favorite) and didn't come out the same. If they are not filled high, the top crust doesn't reach the top heating plate and will give you raw dough. The clean up was a bit tedious and took awhile. I guess once I get the right consistency that I need, the pies will come out good. I have a system now that you prepare all the circles, etc. before you start because you have to work fast or the dough on the bottom will start to immediately cook and that can cause a mess if you don't work fast with the fillings. Hint, do one pie at a time - do not put all four bottom circle at one time. I'm keeping this because it will work if you are patient and prepared and don't be afraid to put 1/2 cup of whatever filling or more like with Blueberry. If you don't the tops will be raw because they cannot reach the top heating plate. Great concept - just not for everyone.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
