Easy to use, versatile, worth it at twice the price.
I showed the delivery driver and she has ordered one. It's my favourite tool so far. Battery is strong and lasts ages. Last week I was up a large willow tree in the goat paddock, lopping branches for the goats to eat. I was worn out before the battery was. It charges in next to no time. Von haus is a great brand. I bought this on the strength of the abuse I have given the corded version over the last 4 years which still works well near the house where I have access to a power supply, but if you have land or a larger garden far from the house, this is what you need. I would recommend it to anyone who puggles about outside and needs to cut anything. Blades for all occasions can be bought cheaply. Try the demolition blade and rip through old pallets to make free picket fencing, or cut through metal. I LOVE this.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Thumbs up review of Von Haus Reciprocating Cordless Saw
I chose this version of the many available on the basis of price. I only intend to use this saw a few times a year and wanted to avoid the high cost of similar cordless machines. When it arrived, I was surprised by the weight, quality feel and carry case. The batteriy and charger is exactly the same as the yellow cordless drill I have and it worked effortlessly through a small demolition job that I had, having worked hard for about an hour, the battery was at 75% charge. Fantastic saw
I didnt have high expectations due to saw being relatively low cost ,similar saws from the high end crew Makita etc can be more than 3 times the cost. It arrived charged but i put it on charger for an hour anyway to be sure . I used it to cut some hefty tree roots and trunk - The trunk was approx 8" of wet wood and saw cut through .It was used pretty much non stop for well over half an hour with little hesitation .It did run low on power so i put it back on charge for an hour or so to allow me to complete the job. Saw seems very robust and looks very good quality, blade change is a doddle just a twist of a chuck mechanism .Glad i got it and may invest in some more tools from the brand as battery is pretty universal in most .Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very impressed
I've been using it to saw a large old shed up. It's powerful and does the job. Only negatives the battery runs out just when you are getting onto the job. It charges quickly though (45 mins). Very impressed with saw.
Used it to cut some large thick branches and to fell a small tree, it handled the job with ease. Very well made, feels like a quality product and comes with a carry case. Good value lightweight and cut through the branches easily but haven’t used it for anything else as yet. Battery life seemed slightly less than what I was expecting but as it’s a new battery it may need a contiguous charged to obtain maximum output.
