Broken and a waste of money
I bought 2 of these, they were shipped in a bag with no real protection and both heads were broken upon opening bag ! secondly , the quality is lacking , the cord eyelets are not machined clean ( de-burred ) so your cord is being damaged as it leaves the head . Do yourself a favor and buy echo speedfeed heads

I had a stihl weed eater with an echo shaft and head off an old gray echo, wanted to trade it out for a speed feed head, this threaded on with no adapters...kinda wish I got the smaller head now for weight reasons...but I do recommend this for all weed eaters. Easy to load trimmer head.
