Disappointing
Purchased on a whim, and the price is great. However, the knife leaves a lot to be desired. The good: the design is great. Minimalist, simple, and effective. The sheath fit is perfect. And even with my very large hands, the shape allows for a secure grip. The bad: the factory edge is *horrible*. Couldn't cut paper out of the box. That's very bad. Sharpening it was difficult; the steel likes to burr too easily. For a blade with a double curve, that makes for a time consuming and difficult sharpen. As a secondary issue, the acheron shows up in searches for a neck knife. And it is the right size. However, the holes in the sheath won't fit standard 550 paracord. This isn't necessarily a flaw; thinner cording means less bulk during carry to irritate the neck. But you'll likely need to find smaller cording if you don't have some already.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Ka bar knife
It is a nice little knife, and i do mean little. If it was a zombie apocalypse this knife would be good for a kid or small woman to handle. It is too small to be consider a zombie killer. Would be better for a letter opener. So if you want a novelty knife that has a zombie logo on it, get it. If you want something that will fit in your hand better and more comfortably buy something else. For the price, it's good for your shelf and a talking point. Other than that, get something better.

Good for the money.
It's a good knife for the price. Not recommended for someone with big hands though. Also the curve on the blade makes it a pain to sharpen. Haven't tested it out on any zombies yet, but I'm sure it will make a great last ditch in case you lose your machete!
