Very well pleased
Suffering with COPD I found this product to be very helpful (using eucalyptus oil). While it won't cure COPD (incurable) it has certainly made my breathing easier and leaves a nice, pleasant smell in the room. It really looks very modern, is easy to set up and is extremely well made with a remote to boot. Just a pity I can't carry it round with me and all at a very good price. Great so far
It's quite large, a reflection of the 5l water tank, but unobtrusive and very quiet when running. The LED display is quite discrete so it doesn't draw attention to itself otherwise. The built in humidistat works well compared with a separate humidity meter that I have and the mist level is more than adequate. I haven't bothered with the Warm Mist option but the ion option seems to work OK, adding to the room's perceived freshness. It is quite straightforward in operation and easy enough to clean. If you live in a hard water area you will need to do this regularly; I fill mine from a filter jug to cut down on the potential ilimescale buildup. I've bought several humidifiers over recent years to maintain a collection of musical instruments in optimum condition. Most have worked OK but have been let down by failure of the internal fan driving the mist output so it'll be interesting to see how this one fares. I have registered it for the 2 year guarantee and if it sees that out it will have beaten the competition hands down. So far, I am impressed.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A quality product
This is a well-designed and high quality product which belies its relatively low cost. Apart from needing some care in refilling it without a little spillage, it does a good job of humidifying and is barely audible. On top of this, VonHaus provide a free 2-year warranty upgrade.
