Excellent epoxy
I've used this product for several years. It is about the best epoxy I've used, and I've tried many. Two colors - off white and black. Black is the perfect color for my application. It holds well, and is water resistant. I have not had it fail in the repairs in which I have used it. Note that like any epoxy, it may fail if exposed to high heat. Read the 3M application/data sheet for detailed information on how to use it, cure rates and shear strength. Since this is a 2:1 epoxy (two parts black to one part tan) you should buy a dispensing gun. This pushes both halves of the epoxy down evenly without creating a mess. Check the dated code when you receive your tube. 3M says that this product has a shelf life of 15 months from date of manufacture in the original container. On the back side, lower right hand corner is the date code. You're interested in the top line of the date information. The first digit is the year (so 7 is 2017), the next three digits are the DAY number that it was made. For example 230 was August 18th. The last letters are machine number. The epoxy would be good until about the end of November 2018. Not that it won't work, just that the product may not work as well as it should after that date.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
