Excellent Comfort and Quality
This is made very well, has a smooth feel, and with the cotton backing layer it does not slip. Not extra thickly filled, yet I find this to be much more comfortable and cooler than other mattress pads we've had. Sewed with piping around the top edge; it has kept its shape nicely. (We have one of these in queen too.) Washes beautifully-- dry on low heat to prevent shrinking, so this takes a few dry cycles--would not be optimum for a laundromat. I have even washed them on our machine's whitest-whites cycle(hot water) and they still fit great. We have "plush firm" 13" deep mattresses, possibly they could fit a few inches deeper, but I can't guess if it would fit extra deep or pillow top mattresses.
