A non original part that works well.
Fitted this to my Singer 467. Machine is now adjusted and running perfectly after years of struggling with the poorly made original. Be aware that as it's not a genuine Singer part you will have to allow for dimensional inaccuracies. Ensure the side tension spring is free to move

Hard to say what the fit would be on a Singer
I took a chance on this, knowing that it might not be suitable as my machine is a Merritt 157 rather than a Singer. The metal pin that goes in to the machine was too long, but I was able to swap the tension discs and spring to the original tensioner so the end result was positive.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
