An invaluable device for moving data
I just cannot fault this device, it was just so easy to use and you did not even have too be connected to a PC. I cloned a 1 TB hard disk drive to a 1 GB solid state drive, it took about 4 hours but I could monitor the progress by how many lights were flashing. I have cloned disk drives before and you needed special cables, special software and a degree in electronics or a lot of knowledge. I just plugged the supplied power supply into the back of the device, inserted two disk drives into the SATA slots, turned on the machine using the on off switch on the back, waited a few seconds and then pressed the Clone button for 3 or 4 seconds and then off it went, cloning. There is a small pamphlet that illustrates exactly what to do and it seems almost foolproof to set it up and clone one disk to another. You cannot clone a big drive to a smaller one but you can clone a small drive to a bigger one, you will need to use another program to format the unused space. A great buy for it was so cheap and you can plug it into your PC with two SATA disk drives fitted and copy from them in and out to your PC .Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
