The overall design and construction of the game is acceptable and as you would expect. Where it falls short is twofold: First, the machine requires 3 D cell batteries in series. There is a plastic piece separating the batteries which is too thick result in in the batteries not touching. This is only solved by a small metal plate between each battery to complete the circuit.
Second, is that the machine does not sense and preset the pins when a strike is rolled. You have to manually reset the game.
Basically it is amusement for a child and built with the quality you expect from China.....
