Simple job.
Fitting is very easy - brush loose material from the chimney; cut a bypass pipe (I used a 1m length of overflow pipe with ends bevelled at 45 degrees); insert inflation tube and slightly inflate the balloon. Hold both pipe and balloon in place while inflating the balloon (block the pipe with your tongue). Job done! With energy costs misbehaving, this is an extraordinarily cheap way of reducing heat loss up usually unused chimneys. I should have done it decades ago. It will pay for itself very quickly. n.b. Ok but not perfect
It was tricky to install on my own so had to get help holding it in place whilst someone inflated it. The pipe didn’t fit the air bed connectors so had to be taped with gaffa tape.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
