Works well, fitting quick and easy.
Our log burner has a shroud top not a flat one and is fitted into a fireplace recess. Have used different types of fan that sits on the top but they are a bit hit and miss as the shroud top takes a while to heat up and heat has already built up in the recess reducing the temperature differential. This flue fan starts up quickly every time and runs at quite a speed. Magnet holds it firmly to the flue. Only downside is that this is a 4 blade fan and it doesn't seem to move as much air as my previous Von Haus 3 blade one that sat on the burner, when we could get it to start.

A big fan of the fan
An excellent bit of kit and makes a huge improvement in the efficiency and effectiveness of our multi fuel burner in our canal boat. It even manages to push some heat into the bedroom area from the main saloon. The blades may need some initial readjustment on unpacking as one of blades was catching the main body. The fan rotates really fast when the stove is at full temperature but stop instantly and with no danger if you catch it accidentally as it is so light and with little torque.
