Although the machine makes good expresso and cappuccino it’s modifications although are an improvement result in vibrations noise when brewing. These noises were quietened by adding self adhesive dampers to the drip tray. A call to Gaggia UK resulted in a solution to buy a metal drip tray at my expense. Not happy about this hence the non recommendation.

Lavazza is probably the best Italian coffee out there for the price. I actually prefer the more bitter Segafredo, at least for espresso, but it's absurdly expensive in the UK.
