Used to rust-proof polished steel.
I used the gloss varnish to protect a polished steel finish from rust. 3-4 coats were sprayed on and I expected to achieve a higher gloss finish than resulted. Although the steel was dust free, as was the air, the finish had an almost gritty feel to it. I didn't spray too heavily to avoid paint sags and runs. Perhaps the applications were too light.

Ordered 2 cans. First can leaked and dripped all over the job. Meaning I had to rub runs out twice. However the second can worked perfectly and gave an excellent finish. Product does take an age to dry and is a lot thinner than my usual product. But the good surface finish is a bonus. Maybe I was unlucky with the first can.

Good quality and transparency
Its a good product but you need to consider the work you have this destined for. The product is good quality and I went for a spray just for conveninence - i had no brushes left in my shed that i could use and these were meant to coat some very small decorative fences in the garden. The colour didnt change (maybe the wood took a deep shade...but that was all, which i wanted) but my only problem was with the quantity - there's way less paint in these than in a normal paint bucket. So make sure when you buy this you will need to either buy a larger numbers of sprays either..you use them for very small projects. So i used these all in one go for about 5m long and 20cm height of fences - and the wood pieces were rare, not sticked together. Overal I was pleased with the product especially because it arrived very fast.
